Upon your arrival at the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, you’ll be met and transported via private SUV to your hotel downtown. Positioned in the heart of downtown Anchorage, your Hotel is replete with history – including its very own collection of inhouse art.
Spend the evening exploring Anchorage, indulge in a mouth-watering seafood platter or take advantage of the long hours of sunlight on a meandering stroll.
This morning a private SUV transfer will deliver you to Lake Hood, where you’ll board a scheduled flight to a Luxury Mountain Lodge. Nestled on the shores of Judd Lake, the activity options are endless. Activities for adventure-seekers include stand up paddleboarding, jet skiing, and wake-surfing. For guests seeking peace and quiet, there’s yoga on the dock, casting a line from the lawn, hiking nearby trails, and wildlife observation. Accommodations are at the Luxury Mountain Lodge in a Deluxe Guest Room or Cabin.
Take to the skies over the next two days for helicopter-led adventures from your base at Luxury Mountain Lodge. Along with your expert guide, enjoy heli-hiking a wide variety of terrain where you can spot wildlife, trek across ancient glaciers or picnic in meadows of wildflowers. The choice is yours. If you’re looking to satisfy your need for speed there’s helibiking or helicopter rafting through class 3-4 whitewater rapids. For a slower pace, hop aboard a helicopter to fish in deserted waterways teeming with fish. Accommodations are at Luxury Mountain Lodge in a Deluxe Guest Room or Cabin.
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure at Luxury Mountain Lodge. Optional activities include stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, wakeboarding or kayaking. You may choose to fish nearby, take to the trails for a gentle hike, or practice your Sun Salutations during a yoga class. If complete and utter relaxation is what you’re seeking, you’ve come to the right place, with optional massage services, a wood-fired cedar sauna and an outdoor hot tub. After breakfast this morning you’ll board a seaplane from Luxury Mountain Lodge to Fish Lake, where you’ll enjoy a half-day photo tour of Talkeetna. Capture shots of the rugged Alaskan landscape and marvel at the spectacular scenery. After lunch, you’ll take a short flight from Talkeetna to an Alaska Chalet, your luxe home for the next few days. Positioned on Ruth Glacier in Denali National Park, this Alaska Chalet is the only luxury villa (and privately owned land) inside of the park’s limits. This one-of-a-kind chalet offers visitors panoramic 365-degree views of towering peaks and Ruth Glacier. While at the Chalet, guests may indulge in gourmet cuisine, guided trekking or sledding by day or moonlight, visiting the historic Sheldon Mountain House (where it all began), rappelling and crevasse exploration, ski trekking down the Ruth Glacier, building a snow cave or relaxing in the sauna. Soak up your surroundings for the last time prior to your departure from the Alaskan Chalet. Enjoy a coffee from one of the panoramic decks overlooking the Sheldon Nunatak.
